Historic Townie Ride
For Immediate Release: Aug. 1, 2015

The Museum Broken Arrow Historic Townie Ride takes place at 9 a.m. on every third Saturday during June, July, August and September. Participants meet on the west side of Main and Dallas near Spoke House Bicycles and AVB Bank.

The Historic Townie Ride is free.  Helmets are required.  Upon arrival, please check in with Museum staff.  The ride is around six miles and is open to all levels of cyclers.  We encourage families to bring their children and learn more about the history of Broken Arrow.

"The area around downtown Broken Arrow is packed with history. In your car, you could travel past one of the most historic homes in Broken Arrow 100 times and never notice it," stated Kris Hadley, board member of The Museum Broken Arrow.  "On our townie bike ride you can stop, read the historical markers and really soak up the significance. Many of the riders have commented on how much there is to see and learn about Broken Arrow.”

For more information, contact the Museum at (918) 258-2616.

KEEPING HISTORY ALIVE.
Located in historic downtown Broken Arrow, near the site of the original train depot, The Museum Broken Arrow's mission is to be a place where our community comes together to explore Broken Arrow's past, appreciate its present, and imagine its future.

Our Non-Profit organization works to share local history through interactive and informative exhibits.

The Museum raises its operational costs through donations, fundraisers and membership dues. You may donate by credit card below.  We also accept cash and check donations at the museum.
