Julie Brown, Executive Director, grew up in Broken Arrow Oklahoma before a family move relocated her to the Houston, Texas area in 1996. After college and starting her family in Texas, she took her husband and son to visit her home town of Broken Arrow. It was during that visit, they agreed, Broken Arrow was the place they should raise their family. Since moving back, Julie has immersed herself in the community through volunteer work and supporting the local area businesses and non-profits. Julie’s personal interest in history led her to The Museum Broken Arrow, first as a patron and then beginning in September 2018 as an employee. Julie enjoys serving the Broken Arrow community, researching family history, exploring museums and spending time with her family, including her husband and their two children. She has lived in Broken Arrow 30 years.
Allie Cloud, Museum Associate, this summer will be the start of her 5th year here at the Museum Broken Arrow. She was able to visit the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington D.C. last year and that was the best two hours of her life!
