The Museum Broken Arrow Announces New Board of Directors President

The Museum Broken Arrow’s board of directors has announced the election of a new president, vice president and four new directors. The 10-member board serves as an advocate of The Museum Broken Arrow’s mission to gather and preserve local and regional history and artifacts that enrich the heritage of Broken Arrow.
Jo Ellen Clow will succeed Larry Pennington as president of The Museum Broken Arrow’s board of directors. Pennington has served as board president since 2012. Sean McKee will serve as the board’s vice president and Ed Carlton will serve as the treasurer. The newly-elected directors include Dr. Pamela Fly, Rob Whitlock and Natalie Scrimsher.
“Each of these individuals will add great expertise and knowledge to our board of directors,” said Lori Lewis, executive director of The Museum Broken Arrow. “In addition, we are extremely grateful to have had the long-time direction of Larry Pennington, our former board president. He has been an unbelievable asset to our organization during the last four years and it was an honor to follow his leadership.”
The Museum Broken Arrow is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in historic downtown Broken Arrow near the site of the original Katy Train Depot. The Museum’s mission is to preserve the local history of the city and its residents and to serve as an educational opportunity for future generations. In addition to showcasing local history, the Museum also offers events, educational opportunities and facility rental.
