The Museum Broken Arrow Hosts Night at the Museum Fundraiser
For Immediate Release: Aug. 24, 2015
The Museum Broken Arrow’s annual Night at the Museum fundraiser will take place at 6 p.m. on Sept. 12, at the Rose District Farmers Market. Event tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.
This year’s theme is 1940s Rubies and Blues and attire is business casual or looks from the 1940s. The event’s silent auction will feature exciting items ranging from helicopter tours to ballet tickets. In addition, there will be entertainment provided by the Tulsa Jazz Orchestra and Ballroom Revolution dancers, food, a cash bar and malt station. Guests can enjoy dancing, being 'frosted' with diamonds and rubies from Star Jewelers, a photo booth and classic 1940s automobiles on display.
“This event is a way to honor our past and look toward Broken Arrow’s bright future,” said Jo Ellen Clow, Night at the Museum event co-chair. “We are all part of the narrative of our town and joining together to build on our story ensures our heritage will be shared for generations to come.”
The Night at the Museum fundraiser is the museum’s single largest fundraising event of the year. All funds raised are used to support the museum’s mission of preserving and sharing the artifacts and stories of the City of Broken Arrow.
To purchase tickets or for more information, please call (918) 258-2616 or contact the event volunteer coordinator, Jeff Hewett, at Volunteer.BAMuseum@yahoo.com to volunteer.
