The Museum Broken Arrow to Host Night at the Museum Fundraiser

The Museum Broken Arrow will host its fifth annual Night at the Museum fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Rose District Plaza located just south of The Museum Broken Arrow, 400 S. Main St. in Broken Arrow. The deadline to pre-order tickets is Friday, Sept. 8 at 4 p.m.
This year’s Night at the Museum theme is ‘Staying Alive’ and will feature a 1970s-disco style. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a professional DJ and a photo booth, plus a live auction, wine toss and gift card pull. Jo Ellen Clow is the 2017 Night at the Museum chair.
“The Museum Broken Arrow’s annual fundraiser is vital to our mission of preserving the history and heritage of our community,” said Lori Lewis, executive director of The Museum Broken Arrow. “Night at the Museum: Staying Alive is sure to be one of Broken Arrow’s finest philanthropic events of the year.”
All proceeds from the event will assist with operational expenses of the Museum including preservation of artifacts and photographs, the development of exhibits and to conduct ongoing research on Broken Arrow and its history.
Advanced tickets are $35 if purchased by Sept. 8 at 4 p.m. Tickets will be $40 at the door on the evening of the event. Advanced tickets will be available online and at the Museum for purchase. Sponsorship opportunities are available for Night at the Museum.
The Museum Broken Arrow is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in historic downtown Broken Arrow near the site of the original Katy Train Depot. The Museum’s mission is to preserve the local history of the city and its residents and to serve as an educational opportunity for future generations. In addition to showcasing local history, the Museum also offers events, educational opportunities and facility rental.
